1. Agreement to Terms

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Uganda, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Uganda.

9. Service Descriptions and Pricing

SCEC TECHNOLOGIES provides digital solutions including web design, digital marketing, branding, UI/UX design, and IT infrastructure installation. All services are subject to:

Project Scope: Services are limited to the scope defined in the service agreement or proposal.
Pricing: Pricing is as quoted in the proposal. Additional work beyond the agreed scope may incur additional charges.
Timeline: Project timelines are estimates and may be subject to delays beyond our reasonable control.
Client Responsibilities: Timely provision of content, feedback, and approvals are client responsibilities that may affect project timelines.

10. Payment Terms

Payment for services is required as stated in the service agreement or invoice. Accepted payment methods include:

Bank transfer
Credit/Debit card payment
Mobile money or other agreed payment methods

Late payments may result in suspension of services until payment is received. For international clients, all fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes, duties, or customs charges, which are the responsibility of the client.

11. Intellectual Property Rights

Upon full payment, the client receives ownership of the work product created specifically for their project. However:

Pre-existing IP: SCEC TECHNOLOGIES retains ownership of all pre-existing intellectual property, tools, templates, and methodologies.
Third-party Content: Any third-party software, plugins, or content used remains the property of its respective owner.
Attribution: The client grants SCEC TECHNOLOGIES the right to display the completed work in our portfolio and for marketing purposes with proper attribution.
Custom Code: Custom code created during the project may be reused in future projects if it does not contain client-specific functionality.

12. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of sensitive business information shared during the engagement, except as required by law or for purposes of providing the services. This obligation survives termination of the service agreement.

13. User Responsibilities

When using our website and services, you agree not to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe upon any intellectual property rights
Harass, abuse, or harm any person
Transmit spam, viruses, or malicious code
Engage in any form of hacking or unauthorized access
